Do you really have a 1 hour response time to breakdowns?

We sure do! With in 1 hour we aim to have already contacted you and have a tech at your site or on there way. This only applies during normal business hours and in the metro area. However in most cases even after hours, we have a technician with you within the hour. We aim to make this a standard for all contact so no matter the case you can rest assured that we will be there to help you as quick as possible.

Do you have a customer service team?

Of course! Our friendly and knowledgeable customer service reps are available to answer your questions .

How often does my forklift need maintenance?

Your best bet is to sign up for a Planned maintenance Agreement when you purchase your Forklift. A planned maintenance agreement ensures that your forklift will be maintained at the proper times by a qualified  Technician.


How can I buy a forklift?

When it comes to new forklifts, you have three options. You can rent, lease or buy. Of course, you can also purchase a used forklift, but you need to be sure the person or place you’re purchasing from is reputable, because forklift malfunctions can be very dangerous.

What are the Advantages of a Skyjacks Pallet Jack, and Why Does my Company Need One?

Lots of companies feel that when it comes to moving pallets, a forklift truck is the only option available to them. Usually, this is not the case at all. Pallet jacks are – in the first case – much easier to maintain than a forklift. A forklift is a motorized, mechanical device with countless moving parts and electrical components. The more parts a piece of machinery has, the more chances there are for things to go wrong, and the more parts that will require maintenance.

When it comes to a pallet jack – even a motorized pallet jack – your main worries are lubrication and power. If you keep your pallet jack well lubricated, then that really is the end of your maintenance worries. For a motorized pallet jack, all you will need to do aside from lubrication is to replace the battery when it stops charging – an extremely simple process.

There are also additional costs when it comes to a forklift that simply do not exist when it comes to pallet jacks – many of which are often never considered. For starters, you do not need to train someone to use a pallet jack, but only qualified personnel are allowed to use forklifts, so if you purchase a forklift you’ll need to provide the intensive training to enable someone to use it.

HOW CAN I PLACE AN ORDER? 

Simply search for the product that you wish to purchase then enter the quantity you require in the box next to the price and then click the ADD button. This enters the item into a shopping cart. From there you can progress to the checkout to complete your order. 

  

HOW DO I KNOW THAT MY ORDER HAS BEEN RECEIVED? 

Once your Order has been placed and payment has been accepted you will receive an email confirmation giving you an Order Confirmation Number.

HOW DO I OPEN A CREDIT ACCOUNT? 

Simply complete your order and contact details then select to pay by account. We will then open an account for you subject to status.

If your operation needs a little more than manual labor in order to move items around your warehouse or production facility, then Skyjacks offers a powered pallet jacks. These are ‘walk behinds’ in which the operator walks behind the jack, with the power coming from an electric motor. These items are a great compromise between the light-duty ability of a manual pallet jack, and the expense of a forklift. Skyjacks offers a deluxe light-duty power pallet truck that has a 3300 lb. capacity, or if you’re looking for a more heavy-duty option, the deluxe heavy-duty power pallet truck, which has a 4,400 lb. capacity.

Yes you can, simply logon and select MY ACCOUNT, this screen will show all previous orders placed under your account. To look at each individual order in full detail, simply click the ORDER REF on the left.

WHAT IF I FORGET MY PASSWORD? 

When Logging in on MY ACCOUNT PAGE you will see just below the field where you are supposed to enter your password, there is an option you can take if you have forgotten it. Simply fill in your email address and a new password will be emailed to you.  

IF AN ITEM IS NOT CARRIAGE PAID, WILL YOU NOTIFY ME OF COSTS? 

If you purchase goods that require a carriage charge to be added, we will contact you on receipt of your Order to clarify exactly what charges are applicable. If you then agree to proceed we will process your order in the usual way.  

WHAT IS YOUR DAMAGED GOODS / RETURNS POLICY?

DAMAGED GOODS: No claim will be accepted after three days from receipt of delivery. Any claim must be advised in writing via email with photos within that time period. No claim will be accepted if goods were signed for as “OK” or “UNCHECKED”. You must have signed for the goods as damaged. ALWAYS check parcel & contents before signing for any delivery.

RETURNS: DO NOT return items without contacting us first via Email,  or telephone. We will consider each case for return based on their individual merit. If we agree to accept return we will normally charge you for the original carriage, a handling charge to put items back into stock and a collection fee before we credit your account/card less any credit card admin charge. If you decide to send the items back using your own carrier, please make sure to contact us first to receive a RETURNS NUMBER, if you do not do so then goods will not be accepted
